CRISISWEAR

Crisiswear is a neo-gothic, industrial-inspired clothing line founded in Chicago by designer Matt Deponte. I connected with Matt just as the pandemic hit and started shooting social and advertising content for his brand. Having full creative license I often use Crisiswear shoots as a way to try new techniques like modular set building or incorporating elements of 3D and AI.

Cyberpunk Vibes

November 2020

With the pandemic lockdown in full effect I started exploring how I could best use my small garage space to execute an epic project. I developed a concept for a cyberpunk-themed shoot and Matt sent over the outfits. I had been heavily modifying a BMW R1150R and wanted to feature my new Mad Max ride in the shot. To add depth I built a 5-piece modular backdrop out of chipboard and 2x2s. It could be easily stored and reconfigured into multiple layouts. The end result was used for both social and print advertising.

My next big shoot for Crisiswear took place after moving back to Sandpoint, ID. I was still shooting out of my garage, but this time I wanted to experiment with using 3D renders and AI-generated graphics to enhance the images.
